Chiropractic has been effective in treating patients with various vision problems, as shown by the results of the studies below.
A nine-year-old female child had failed vision in both eyes; after Chiropractic treatment her vision returned to normal.
One year later, the same patient returned after being hit in the head by a ball, which left her without vision in one eye.
While under anesthesia, she received Chiropractic treatment. Upon awakening, the child’s vision had returned to normal. During the week of Chiropractic care, the patient’s vision dramatically improved and the function of the optic nerve also showed marked improvement.
In another case, a 62-year-old man lost vision in his right eye. With each Chiropractic adjustment, significant improvement was noted. And, Chiropractic was also effective in restoring the vision to another elderly patient — after his optometrist exam showed “no conventional treatment was appropriate.”
In 114 patients with vision problems, symptoms were relieved or eliminated in 83% of the cases; including the symptoms of associated blurred vision or blindness.
On the standard test-chart, 34.4% improved by six or more rows; 45.6% improved 2-5 rows; and 9-12 blind eyes regained vision. One year later, of 54 follow-up cases, 91.1% showed stable therapeutic effect.

Players on the men’s professional golf tour have chiropractors available to them at all of their tournaments. Many professional football players get Chiropractic help following rough and tumble games. Now professional baseball organizations ...
